Alpha Dolly is a cart equipped with an electromechanical column, powered by a standard camera battery pack. It is a lightweight, compact, and highly maneuverable trolley system, featuring a low initial column height of 710 mm (27.95 inches) and a completely new, streamlined design.
Only three standard lithium-ion batteries (14.4 V/10–15 A) are required to operate the cart, providing a high degree of flexibility and independence in terms of power supply.
The new seat position in the tower employs the familiar operating method of a hydraulic lift‑arm trolley. By using seat‑arm adapters of varying lengths and a new telescoping seat arm, the seat height can be adjusted. Furthermore, thanks to the integrated 360° rotation system, the camera operator can rotate along with the column.
The Alpha Dolly system is compatible with many standard MovieTech accessories.
