The renowned “wing” balancing system can support cameras ranging from 3 kg (7 lbs) to 30 kg (66 lbs), achieving perfect balance within a ±90° range; moreover, with a center of gravity positioned at 100 mm, the head can handle payloads of up to 40 kg (88 lbs). The Maxima30 incorporates all the acclaimed features of CARTONI’s MAXIMA series hydraulic heads, yet in a more compact form, weighing just 0.5 kg (23 lbs). For ease of use, it boasts a digital balance readout, an intuitive pan‑and‑tilt motion control system, and an illuminated bubble level. To maximize user convenience, the head is equipped with left‑side pan and tilt hand brakes that also serve as camera wedge locks—activatable with one hand to disengage the new safety lock and fully release the camera. For ease of use, the pan‑tilt head is equipped with a digital balance display, an intuitive panning and tilting mechanism, and a bubble‑level indicator.
To ensure maximum user convenience, the pan and tilt hand brakes mounted on the left side of the gimbal also serve as a camera plate lock; they can be activated with one hand to disengage the new safety lock and fully release the camera.
The camera sled can accommodate all industry‑standard plates, such as those from ARRI and RED, with a sliding range of 140 mm and clear scale markings.
