SERENE Xirui Feather-Head Shock Absorption

  The Xirui Phoenix Head is a patented product—a two‑axis spring arm that mounts to the end of an Easyrig (2, 2.5, 3, or Vario5). It reduces vibrations and jolts caused by walking and running along the vertical axis, providing effective shock absorption, while also helping to minimize alignment errors when switching between scenes in the same shot. Additionally, it takes full advantage of the Easyrig’s elastic cord’s stretchability, enabling seamless transitions from high‑angle to low‑angle positions. At the same time, the Xirui Phoenix Head adds two extra stabilizing axes to the existing system, ensuring stability both vertically and during scene transitions.

The Xiri Phoenix’s load capacity ranges from 6 to 19.5 kg, and its tension can be adjusted without any tools. It performs even better when used in conjunction with the Gravity One, and it also delivers outstanding results when paired with the Freefly MoVI, DJI Ronin, Letus Helix, and other advanced gimbal systems.

The Xiri Phoenix Head quickly became an essential accessory for Easyrig users. In the autumn of 2014, shortly after its launch, roughly 10% of Easyrig users had already installed it on their own Easyrig systems. As the combination of the Xiri Phoenix Head and the universal joint grew increasingly popular, that percentage has continued to rise.

The Xiri head is mounted at the top of the Easyrig’s upper bracket. Unlike conventional setups, the cable from the Xiri head doesn’t run straight down from the top of the Easyrig; instead, it wraps upward and passes through the rig. This means you’ll need to make a slight adjustment to the Easyrig’s bracket during installation—moving it one or two holes, depending on your specific model. The process is straightforward, and most users can complete it independently. We include a tool to help you drill the holes with precision. If you’d rather not do it yourself, simply send it to us, and we’ll take care of it for you.

When purchasing the Xiri boom arm, you can also opt for an additional accessory: an extra bracket that easily attaches to the boom to extend its existing length. With a maximum extension of 10 mm, it ensures just the right distance between your camera and your body. At the same time, it expands the telescoping range of the boom’s base mount, enhancing your shooting experience. The Xiri boom arm features a thicker spring to support the added leverage while optimizing stability during filming. Its minimum extended length is 56 mm, and its maximum reach is 1,116 mm.

It can be mounted on the Easy-Go 2/2.5/3 and Vario5. (For equipment weighing over 16 kg, we recommend using the standard large‑size Easy‑Go; we do not recommend the medium‑size with a 130 mm extension or the long‑size with a 230 mm extension.)

The Xirui head-mounted bracket offers a friction-free extension range of up to 180 mm at the base.

When used in conjunction with the EASY-ACCESS back, it enables high-angle or low-angle shooting.

The two springs have an effective load capacity of 6 to 19.5 kilograms.

It can be equipped with attachments such as the Xirui articulated boom.

With the new Easyrig sling and drilling template, it is compatible with Easyrig 2/2.5/3 and Vario 5.
